Why is my guitar page on this website you ask? Because Deep Color is my partner Claudia's business and since we live and work together we might as well share a website. Now, on to music.....

Music has been my true language since I was little. It is a pleasure to play and a pleasure to teach. After having picked up the guitar in high school and continuing for about 9 or 10 years, I started taking more advanced lessons with locally and internationally known guitarist Nina Gerber. These have really helped me to learn the layout of the guitar and understand more about making music. As of 2006 I figure I've been playing for about 17 years and teaching professionally for 5 years.

Currently, I teach students age 14 and up on a weekly basis. Weekday evenings and Sunday afternoon and evening spots are available. I focus on rock, folk, and blues, peppered with theory (including the C-A-G-E-D guide to the neck). I rely heavily on songs with basic chord structures as a way to learn how to play and I encourage students to bring music in that they would like to learn.
